The Palos Verdes Homes Association is Electing a New Board of Directors in January–Updated

Please note:  If you are not familiar with the PVHA issues, and don’t have time to study the issues, the LBHOA recommends that you simply return your ballot without marking any selection.  That way, your vote of “No Preference” will count towards a quorum.

Our friends at the Malaga Cove Homeowners Association have provided us with Personal Statements received from the candidates.  For Bios and Personal Statements from the candidates, click below:

You should have received your ballot for electing the next Board of Directors for the PV Homes Association in the mail. Don’t throw it away! The LBHOA encourages all PVE residents to vote. If you don’t know the issues, please hold your ballot. It is not due until January 4, and the LBHOA is committed to ensuring that information be made available so that we can all make an informed choice.

If you have not received your ballot, or it was lost, you can get a replacement at the PVHA office in Malaga Cove.  The office is open from 8:30am – 12pm and 1pm – 5pm on weekdays, except the office is closed on Tuesdays.

Your ballot must be mailed; drop offs are NOT accepted at the PVHA office.  The deadline is January 4, so be sure to mail before the end of December.

The Palos Verdes Homes Association is a non-profit corporation that enforces the protective restrictions established in the early planning and development of the city. These restrictions impact all of our residents, as they establish limits on architectural changes to our homes and enforce deed restrictions on developments within the city.

The PVHA is guided by a Board of Directors which is elected by the homeowners. In past years, the election has been non-binding because the meeting failed to receive a vote from a quorum of the members. This year, it is more important to receive a quorum because, unlike past years, there are more candidates running than available seats on the Board.

The LBHOA does not endorse any candidate, or slate of candidates, but we do encourage all residents to vote and to encourage their neighbors to participate.
