Dale Hoffman has been a resident of Palos Verdes Estates since 1972. Dale was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, graduated from Iowa State University in Aeronautical Engineering, UCLA in Electrical Engineering and moved to Southern California in 1958. He spent 43 years in the aerospace industry with North American Aviation and TRW, retiring in 2001.
In retirement, Dale has served as a consultant to Northrop-Grumman, member of the PVE Planning Commission, on the Board of Trustees of the Southern California Historical Aviation Foundation, President of the Riviera Hall Lutheran School Board, Treasurer of the Palos Verdes Historical Society, as well as pursuing hobbies related to golf, Civil War history, and travel.
Dale and his wife Marilyn have been married for 55 years, have 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. All of us are proud of our PVE roots!
